There are a few breakthroughs in Nerf today.

  • Abp5k - Designed by Captain Slug, this is a semi-automatic Nerf gun. Abp5k
  • Guru - Designed by Groove, it is considered the first integration to merge the shells of two guns rather than put two guns in one shell
  • NIC(Nerf Internet Community) - Without this there would be no organized Nerf wars, less Nerfers, no shared modifications, and Nerf would not be as fun.
  • Semi-Auto 2k - While not actually being semi automatic, this modification was the first to change a previously single firing blaster into holding a reservoir of multiple shots, and yet it still kept most of the guns' range. THIRST first did the modification and was then followed by many others including Bolt Master Zero and Ompa.The original thread is on Nerf Haven.
  • Stefan (dart) - Stefans are homemade darts with a weight(s) in the front of them usually held in with hotglue or liquid nails.
