Super Glue Super Glue is a common household adhesive that works amazingly well for a variety of nerf applications. The best applications for using Super Glue are when you are trying to bond two plastics to one another. To ensure a secure bond you'll want to take a bit of sandpaper and scuff the two surfaces that you are bonding together. This give the glue something to grab a hold of. One major advantage to Super Glue is that you only wait about 10 seconds for the glue to dry. Super Glue creates a very strong bond with little downtime waiting for it to dry. This stuff is a good choice for all around modding when working with plastics.

Specialized Super Glue: "Super Glue" is a generic term used for many varieties of compounds, mostly consisting of Cyanoacrylate or some variation on that compound. Of particular note to Nerfers are the following brands of glue: Zap-A-Gap, Fishin Glue, and Gorilla Glue. Zap-A-Gap is the best of these three and also the hardest to find, most of the time you will have to order it online, but if you're lucky your local hobby shop will have it. Fishin Glue and Gorilla Glue are found in most hardware stores and can be substituted for Zap-A-Gap in 99% of applications.

Plumber's Goop: Plumbers Goop is a staple among dedicated Nerfers alike. Plumber's Goop is used to seal up leaks and cracks, or to cement barrels or various pieces of plastic and metal into place. The downsides to Plumber's Goop is that it takes a while for the goop to set up. But once it's dry, this stuff holds amazingly well. You can get Plumber's Goop at any store that sells different kinds of adhesives. Amazing Goop is the brand to get if you need to choose between several, it drys clean and clear and doesn't have the consistency problems that Liquid Nails runs into. Get to know this stuff because it will be your friend for many more mods to come.

Epoxy: Depending on how you use it, epoxy can be one of the most powerful adhesives that isn't ridiculously expensive. Epoxy works best with objects with surfaces which contact each other over a large area, or which already fit together well. Epoxy isn't very good for making air tight seals. Epoxy has varying set times ranging from 1 minute to 24 Hours, with an average around 7 minutes. Epoxy also comes in varieties made for specific materials such as plastic, wood, PVC, etc. Don't use too much or it won't dry.

Epoxy Putty: This is the stuff of the gods for reinforcing potentially fragile pieces of plastic within a nerf gun. The last thing you ever want is for your trigger to break in the middle of a war. Found at most hardware stores, Epoxy Putty is a two-part putty compound that when mixed reacts and becomes a solid, unbreakable material. Used in such famous mods as the Doomsayer, Epoxy Putty is your go-to material to make sure your mod stays solid and working.

Hot Glue Hot glue makes excellent airtight seals and works well when a large quantity of filler material is desired. However, hot glue becomes soft at high temperatures and brittle in the cold. Do not use it to attach two guns together or for external integrations, use Epoxy first, and then fill in gaps with hot glue after the Epoxy has dried.

PVC Cement Can be found in different types like -PVC -PVC+CPVC -CPVC -PVC+CPVC+ABS(Nerf Plastic) (Best for Nerf applications) Will only addhere to the plastics listed on bottle. There is purple primer but don't use it on ABS(Nerf Plastic). Not a commonly used addhesive.
