Apocalypse, Apoc for short, is a major Nerf event hosted by the Lawn Chair Mafia, held on the first weekend of August every year in New Jersey. Since 2002 the war has consistently been the largest event of its kind on the east coast. 2002-2006 saw the event held at Mill Creek County Park, the home field of the LCM. Apoc 2002 was (until 2007) the largest event held on the east coast and organized by the Nerf Internet Community (NIC); in all, 28 Nerfers competed.

Apoc 2007, however, required a change in field due to the participation of 48 Nerfers, a serious NIC accomplishment and the largest war in east coast history to date. Apoc 2007 was hosted at Deal Test Site, a public park in central New Jersey (known as the "home field" of the Horsemen).

Apoc has become the largest Nerf War on the East Coast. In 2008 it had a big increase of people. It became the biggest nerf war in the world, with attendees from as far south as Florida, and as far north as Ontario.

In 2009 attendances kept coming and coming. With the failure of the big season of foam trip map people were fine, but a big success for new members that came. Apoc showed that the Lawn Chair Mania is still in tact.

Early Promotional Banners

In 2002 and 2003 the LCM promoted Apoc by posting banners online and in forum signatures.
