The Disk Shot is a single shot pullback-prime pistol, similar to the Switchshot EX-3. Many speculate that it is basically a repackaged version of the original Nite Finder, except rather than having a laser target and two ammo holders instead the Disk Shot has five ammo holders. However the internals seem to have dimensional and construction variations.
The Disk Shot is sold either as an expansion pack or with a target disk-launcher and six target disks. It has also been repackaged as the Element EX-6, which contains a Disk Shot, a "scope" which has no magnification, and the red light/dot unit that was also packaged with the Recon. Disk launcher is triggered from an infrared remote that you mount on the "sight rail" of the pistol.
