Spring-powered single barrel blaster with a lever-action priming mechanism that reduces the mechanical effort needed to prime the plunger.
Basically a smaller and weaker version of the much more popular Max Shot
Some versions of the First Shot have a little raised nub on the dart holder inside the barrel that poses no problem when firing the gun's original darts. Nerf micros, however, being a slightly tighter fit, will be scratched on the inside by the nub and eventually split open.
