The Great American Gorefest is the name of a specific round held annually at Apoc, the largest Nerf event on the east coast. Due to the expected turnout of 50 Nerfers at the event in 2007, the Lawn Chair Mafia decided beforehand that the Deal Test Site field could be utilized for something very special.

Started in 2007, the Great American Gorefest (named by The Infinite Shindig's youngest brother) is a chaotic free-for-all style, "last man standing" sudden death round (1 hit kills) which includes approximately 50 participants.
