If you don't know some information you'd like added, please make a request for it to be added. This can be done in a few ways.

-To do list - Adding to the To-Do list is the best way to list what you want done or would like assistance with.

-Editing a page's Talk should be used when you're unsure of something on a specific page or would like to ask for a source to confirm something, or similar.

-And please remember to view the list of recently edited pages as it will show you if the To-Do List has been edited or any talk pages have been.

Please explore the wiki a bit to ensure that we aren't making two identical pages. It's infinitely better to make one page instead of two with identical information, and have the alternate name forward to the other page.

If you see false information on the page, please change it and note the change in the talk page. If you have any doubt as to whether you are replacing the questionable material with truths, please confirm it with a more experienced member of either forum. It is very taxing to check all pages for accuracy and even harder for just those administering it to, so please only add information you have some certainty is true.


Here is an idea that RAMBO proposed

When you create an account on the Wiki, first make your userpage. To do this click your user name in the top left. It should be a red link. Proceed by  adding links to your profile pages on NH, NHQ, and any other forums you belong to with the following code:
NerfHaven - this will produce Wiki code that links to my profile page with the text of "NerfHaven"
NerfHQ - goes to my NHQ page
As you can see the syntax is fairly simple: [%URL% %SITE NAME%]. Just insert it along with your regular text and you should be good.
Next, go to the Big List Of Nerfers (Search: "BLON"). Find your name on the list and edit it to the following( less quotes ):
"* [User:%YOUR WIKI USERNAME%|%YOUR FORUM USERNAME%]"

Please note that we will soon add a template for editing information about yourself, so expect to change it in the near future.

-When adding new pages, make sure to add links to it where they should go. -Please use full names (Apocalypse versus Apoc, Lawn Chair Mafia versus LCM) when creating page titles, then use the line

   #REDIRECT [[PageTitleToRedirectTo]]

on any possible abbreviations

-Also, please use title case for names when creating new pages.

-Please add links to pages when they exist or you think they should.

-Please use the "Summary" text field when editing so there is a proper history of what you've done.
