Spring-powered blaster with six barrels in a revolver style turret with an auto-rotation mechanism linked to the trigger. Turret can be flipped down slightly to allow reloading. Plunger is primed from a slide grip on the top of the gun. Internals are based on the Scout IX-3 plunger configuration and as a result stock performance is terrible. Even with modification ranges are still pretty poor.
Originally released molded from blue plastic. Was recently re-released molded primarily in yellow plastic and has some very minor internal changes on the molding of certain parts. It was also remade with clear plastic externals (Crystal Pistol) as a Gamestop exclusive for Black Friday 2008, and is also now sold in clear green plastic as part of the "sonic series".
