This wiki has been created using articles from the NerfWiki at NerfHQ. Not all of these articles were created with the NerferWiki:Goals in mind, so this project is here to update, improve, or quarantine articles which do not fit the NerferWiki standards of quality.

Article Improvement
Articles which contain information which is useful and congruent with the Goals of the NerferWiki may still require improvement. Articles should be updated to reflect the NerferWiki focus on Nerfing and Nerf Wars, rather than the internet community. References to specific people, events, modifications, etc as being 'achievements' (where others are not) or indications that one nerfer/mod/war is more 'notible' than another should be removed.
Quarantine
Articles which, by their nature, do not conform to the Goals of the NerferWiki will not be deleted, as it is our policy to provide a mirror for articles from the NerfWiki at NerfHQ. These articles will be 'Quarantined'. This means that the articles will be added to the category 'NerfHQ Quarantine' and these articles may only be linked to from other quarantined articles. They will also have a disclaimer added to the top of the page explaining the origin and purpose of the article. A brief explanation should be given on the discussion page as to why the article has been quarantined. Articles should only be quarantined if they have no information of value and do not have potential for improvement
Articles which are Quarantined should bear the Template:Nerfhq quar template at the top.

A complete copy of all of the articles on the NerfHQ.com NerfWiki was imported on August 21st, 2008. Articles which were imported at this time and which are not not congruent with the goals above will be tagged with an 'Imported From NerfHQ.com' banner which warns of the article's questionable utility. The articles will be preserved so that a complete mirror of the NerfHQ NerfWiki is maintained on this site.
Additional articles will be imported from NerfHQ or other relevant wikis on a case by case basis. To request that an article be imported, post a link to it in this Article's discussion page. Do not copy paste content from another site into a wiki article without the author's permission.
If your content has been added to this site without your permission, please link to the original copy of your content in the discussion page for this article before removing your content, or the change will be reverted.
