CANO's, or Cleveland Area Nerf Outs, have been hosted sporadically since 2002. Always in the greater Cleveland area, these events were originally hosted by Diablo and his former clan, The NEO Faction. These events occured several times a year until about 2004 when the NEO Faction disbanded. Between 2004 and early 2007, Ohio Nerf (and Cleveland Nerf, specifically) was at a standstill. In the summer of 2007 however, NerfMonkey (Poland), bpso86 (Cincinnati), and Diablo (Cleveland) got together to rejuvenate the Cleveland Nerf scene and host a June CANO. The event had a rather low attendance, but did spark interest in the area. Look for more CANO's to be going on in future years, along with other Ohio Nerf wars.
