Previously known as the 9/9/10 blaster, the Stampede ECS (Electric Clip System) is the first clip system blaster with automatic firing capabilities. Its rate of fire is about three darts a second with sufficient battery power. There is no manual priming option, meaning that it cannot fire without batteries - but this also means that you can remove the clip at any point.

The blaster was packaged with a foregrip/bipod, a mountable blast shield, three 18-dart extended clips and one 6-dart clip.

The internal mechanism is direct plunger, and the blaster can yield ranges similar to a Longshot when modified.

As of 2011, Nerf will release its rival, the Nitron; the flagship of the upcoming vortex line, and fires discs, but uses a flywheel system, and has slow firing rate. Also its rival is claimed to be a 9/10/11 blaster.
