The Scout IX-3 comes in 2 different color schemes (Red/Grey/Black or Blue/Green/Grey). It only comes packaged with one version of the Tech Target (Scout IX-3) set or the the Unity Power System set. This makes the Scout difficult to obtain for those that want it, and disposable to those that got it from the Unity Power System set and don't like it. It's really not a gun worth bothering to obtain unless you're collecting.
It is a spring-powered small blaster primed from a slide grip. It uses a reversed plunger design that is unique and conserves space, but is horribly inefficient compared to the traditional configuration.
